Define what you want to find out. Capture what you already know and where that information came from.

Follow the sources.
Collect records and conversations. Keep the original source, dates, and context close to each finding.

Test the connections.
Compare accounts. Separate documented facts, recollections, and working theories. Record conflicts instead of smoothing them over.

Choose the next useful step.
Look for the action most likely to answer an open question. When a route runs out, record its limits and try another angle.

Clueosity grew from hands-on investigative research and a systems-thinking approach to organizing complex information. The method and workspace are being developed together, through real research.
It is for the curious person who wants a clearer way to keep going, whether the question is about a family, a place, or something entirely different.

Is Clueosity only for family history?
No. The approach works wherever a question involves sources, people, places, events, or conflicting accounts. Family history and local history are starting points, not boundaries.
Does a connection on the board mean something is proven?
No. A visual connection helps organize a possible relationship. The supporting sources and your assessment determine what you can responsibly conclude.
Can I use the app today?
The app is in active development and currently available to approved workspace members. Existing members can use the Member sign in link. Public subscriptions and training are still being developed.
